Who are the Marvel Rivals voice actors? Those lucky enough to get access to the Marvel Rivals closed beta test will have no doubt heard some familiar voices, especially if you’ve played other Marvel games. While some have reprised their roles, some are voicing completely different characters. Of course, there’s also a bunch of new talent joining the cast.
With so many Marvel Rivals characters already, the cast list is stacked. Plus, with post-launch support promising new heroes in the Marvel Rivals roster, it’s only going to grow after the Marvel Rivals release date arrives.

Spider-Man
Marvel Rival’s Spider-Man is voiced by none other than Yuri Lowenthal, of course. Having voiced the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man for years, from Insomniac’s Spider-Man games to Midnight Suns and The Amazing Spider-Man games, Lowenthal is now synonymous with the web-slinger.
Outside of voicing Spider-Man, you might have heard him as Ben Tennyson in Ben 10, Smoke in Mortal Kombat 1, Marth in Fire Emblem, or even the male protagonist’s voice in Sunset Overdrive. Recently, you may have also heard his screams and unwavering democratic spirit as one of the male voices in Helldivers 2. With over 800 accreditations across games, TV, and film, you’ll know his voice when you hear it.
Loki
Though it’s yet to be officially confirmed by NetEase, it’s hard to miss Troy Baker’s voice. Having voiced Bruce Banner in the now-deceased 2020 Marvel’s Avengers game, he’s seemingly moved on to voice the Norse trickster god himself.
From Joel in The Last of Us, Magni in God of War 2018 and Ragnarök, and Higgs in Death Stranding, to name a few, it’s difficult to find something Troy Baker isn’t in.
Doctor Strange
Also yet to be confirmed is Liam O’Brien returning as Doctor Strange after voicing the Sorcerer Supreme in the Marvel’s Spider-Man TV show and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.
From games to English-dubbed anime and even the popular DnD series Critical Role, O’Brien has a wide variety of roles under his belt. However, you’re likely to recognize him as War in the Darksiders series, the AI in Death Stranding, Johnny in Guilty Gear: Strive, and various characters in Starfield, including the Starborn.
Rocket Raccoon
Like Troy Baker, you can always count on Nolan North to appear in what feels like every game and animated show. North is no stranger to voicing superheroes, from accompanying Baker in Marvel’s Avengers as Iron Man to his long history of voicing the bad-mouth Deadpool in games. However, you’ll quickly pick up that he’s bringing Rocket Raccoon to life in Marvel Rivals. Funnily enough, North has also voiced the pyromaniac raccoon on several occasions, including Marvel Future Revolution, Ultimate Alliance, the Telltale Guardians of the Galaxy series, and even Disney Infinity.
Outside of Marvel, Nolan North is known for the charming Nathan Drake in Uncharted, Modi in God of War 2018 and Ragnarök, Superman and Penguin in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Desmond in the Assassin’s Creed series, and both Cayde-6 and Ghost in Destiny 1 and 2.
Iron Man
After voicing Iron Man in Midnight Suns, it sounds as though Josh Keaton has returned to offer his talent to the playboy genius. Keaton has a long track record in Marvel, having voiced Ant-Man in Ultimate Alliance 3, Speed in Lego Marvel’s Avengers, Spider-Man in Marvel vs Capcom 3, and even Harry Osborne in the game adaptations of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films.
Elsewhere, Keaton voiced Rezaren Ammosine and various other characters in the underrated Dragon Age: Absolution TV series, Bram in the Dota: Dragon’s Blood show, and Avad in Horizon Forbidden West.
Peni Parker
The happy-go-lucky super-scientist spider-woman Peni Parkerisvoiced by Sally Amaki. Amaki doesn’t have mountains of roles to her name, but her role as Kiriko in Overwatch is a fan-favorite. Outside the Marvel Rivals’ competitor, Amaki is known for various roles in anime, including Kathrina Griebel in World Dai Star, Carol Olston in Tomo-chan Is a Girl!, and Sakura Fujima in 22/7.
Scarlet Witch
The powerful yet volatile Scarlet Witch is believed to be voiced by Kate Higgins, who voiced the character in the Wolverine and the X-Men TV series, the 2013 Marvel Heroes game, and most recently in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. Though it’s yet to be confirmed, it’s clear that Higgins has a knack for the role.
Where have you heard Kate Higgins before, you ask? Higgins has a heap of well-known roles in games, from Pauline in Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Tennis Aces, Strikers, and Golf, to Purah in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. She also has roles in popular TV shows and movies, including as Aurora in Ralph Breaks the Internet and Ami Mizuno in Sailor Moon since 1992.
Magneto
It’s yet to be confirmed by NetEase, but Magneto sounds suspiciously like Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ Obi-Wan, voiced by the iconic James Arnold Taylor. In a sharp turn from the responsible and selfless Obi-Wan, Taylor’s talent brings out the assertive and unforgiving side of Magneto very well.
Of course, Taylor isn’t just Obi-Wan from The Clone Wars. He also plays Ratchet from Ratchet & Clank since the second entry in the series, taking over from Mikey Kelley.
Hela
Nika Futterman is believed to be lending her voice to the manipulative and callous Hela. Best known for her role as Asajj Ventress in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, it’s no surprise she’s such a sad*stic character in Marvel Rivals. In fact, it wouldn’t even be the first time Futterman has portrayed Hela, having previously offered her talents in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 in 2019 and The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes back in 2010 to 2012.
Despite how well Futterman plays conniving villains, she has a surprising penchant for voicing children’s TV shows and animation. For example, she’s played Daisy Duck in Minnie’s Bow-Toons for over ten years. Nevertheless, you’ll likely recognize her as Eva Levante and Kadi 55-30 in Destiny 2, Khan Maker in Doom Eternal, and various roles in Fallout 76.
Galacta
Although not a playable character currently, you hear a lot of Galacta during matches as the main commentator. Galacta is suspected to be played by none other than Cassandra Lee Morris, the voice behind Morgana/Mona in Persona 5, and Nami and Yuumi in League of Legends.
Morris is also known for her work in anime and animations, with roles in Sailor Moon, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Monster High, and plenty more.
