Can this be baked in a loaf pan or other baking pan and mine always so wet inside the bread why l think it needs more then 20 or 30 min just saying

Sea of Blushon November 5, 2020 at 4:29 pm
Mine was a bit wet actually even though it doesn’t look like it. I think that’s just the consistency. I’m not sure baking it more will help. If you bake it in a loaf pan I think it will get stuck in there!

I added vanilla extract to make it taste a little better !

Sierraon October 31, 2020 at 4:54 pm
Did the vanilla mess up how it cooled and stuff? Did you add it at the end?
Reply
Sea of Blushon November 5, 2020 at 4:28 pm
I never added the vanilla! I don’t think it would mess up how it cooks though

How long do you have to whip it for it to thicken up? I’ve been trying to whip it for the past five minutes and nothing has happened

Sea of Blushon August 4, 2020 at 2:00 pm
Are you hand mixing? Like I said, if you are using a hand whisk your arm will likely fall off, I recommend an electric hand mixer. But you have to whisk until stiff peaks form like whipped cream!

It works better if your eggs are at room temp and make sure there is no water or any type of grease in the bowl

sunf123@aol.com my daughter and I took turns whisking… Having another person definitely helps! Lol

Wow, this recipe is really cool! If you want, you can also add some sugar or vanilla or cocoa powder if it’s not flavorful enough.

Amy Garretton August 4, 2020 at 4:41 pm
If you add some instant yeast I bet it would give it a more bread flavor, also I would substitute the sugar for something more keto friendly like monk fruit. Just a couple suggestions. I will try it next time I make sketti squash with sketti sauce.

Jennon May 12, 2021 at 12:16 pm
You can’t add yeast unless you know how the yeast will react. We’re talking chemistry here; you can’t go adding ingredients willy-nilly. Not to mention the fact that yeast is not what gives bread flavor. It’s a leavener, not a flavoring.
Of course, I’m probably asking too much if I’m expecting logical thought from someone who says “sketti.” Are you six?

This recipe does not work. We tried over three times (with an electric hand mixer) and it doesn’t thicken up!
Reply
Sea of Blushon August 4, 2020 at 6:36 pm
It takes longer with the electric hand mixer and you have to use the whisk attachment.
Reply
Lola ?on August 4, 2020 at 10:00 pm
Your bowl has to be completely clean without any water and you should have your eggs at room temperature
Reply
Caryson August 5, 2020 at 5:54 am
I’ve tried it today and it works with an electric hand mixer you just have to be patientReply
Paytonon August 5, 2020 at 7:27 pm
You cant use a plastic bowl if any fat gets in to the mixture it won’t thicken up even if the bowl is clean fat sticks on to it.

Sophieon August 9, 2020 at 5:15 am
I tried it once and it worked perfectly so I would probably check the ingredients you’re using.

My mixer did no thicken up. This is my third attempt. Me have made it flat and will see if it thickens up.
Reply
blueon August 4, 2020 at 6:13 pm
wait if it doesn’t thicken up with an electric mixer what do you think went wrong
Reply
Sea of Blushon August 4, 2020 at 6:36 pm
they may have gotten some egg yolk in it or water, if that happens it won’t whip up.
Reply
Lolaon August 4, 2020 at 10:08 pm
*use room temp egg whites* worked perfect for me

It does taste like egg a little bit but I think it’s really good if you add in matcha flavoring. Also, before you eat rip it up. It’s sooooo satisfying!Reply

Did you use a plastic bowl? Also, no water, oil or even a teeny tiny speck of egg yolk. And it will never peak.

So I had not heard of Cloud Bread before, perhaps because I am not on tik tok. But it looks like a lot of fun to make. This might be the perfect food to make with your kids especially with the adding of food colors to make it all fun and crazy looking!
To me it seems that it is just a dried out version of Flan or Merangue but I am down to always try pink, purple, or whatever color of the rainbow type food!Reply

We live in Colorado. A lot of recipes I have to adjust due to elevation (7500)
Does this recipe work for high elevation? Or does it need to be adjusted?

I’m not sure! But for success it’s really whipping to stiff peaks. Not sure about the baking part though.
